Strange...I don't see (my) painting major on that list.
I am paying lots more attention to these things lately, however, as I have a son heading to college in a year and a half.
1Those poor psychology majors.
2Ouch. My studio art major is only helping me rake in a third to a quarter of these examples..
3I think this is a bit misleading, its says that listed are "the two most popular jobs for the majors they provided listed below" but after looking at the original source, it looks like what is actually listed is the two HIGHEST PAYING out of the list of 10 most popular jobs.
4I'm a technical writer without the title and definitely not making that much!
5the Science one must be referring to Computer Science since those jobs are IT
6Yay PoliSci!

I'm majoring in Criminal Justice AND Psychology. Hopefully, I'll make enough to do
what I want to do in life like TRAVEL.
8No Philosophy majors...hmph!
9no PR majors - that's ridiculous! sooo many people major in marketing/pr/journalism/communications.
10well i work in marketing to an extent but it's funny since that's not at all what i originally went to school for. i do sometimes wonder what my old classmates are doing but not enough to join facebook or anything like that to track them.
11I'm surprised how much you can make with an Arts degree! haha.. except psychology. That's normal.
I looked up average wages in my province. My college classmates all became..
Teacher - $67 800 (this average definitely includes people that have been teaching for decades)
12Doctor - $200 000 (this average probably includes surgeons.. definitely specialists)
Dentist - $111 500 (this is normal)
Yay, communication majors. LOL
