I am currently a lucky student who does not have to work, but I am always wondering, will my education amount to the job I want, and if so will the job I want be sustainable for me, and again, if so, will it be as meaningful as I think it will be?
In other words, how probable is it that I will actually end up in the career I want, will it provide me enough of a living, and is it as awesome as I think it is? I'm in an awkward place of hoping, because all the practice I've had toward my future career is fun and fulfilling, but academic environments aren't the best reflectors of real life!

honestly it's a paycheck. originally i thought it might lead to a fulfilling career, but it didn't. instead, i'm applying to law school right now, so hopefully i'll be out of the cubicle and back in a class room by next fall.

Mine's a paycheck. It's not a bad job and I can help people a little but not in a way that gives me any satisfaction. However, it's a good place to be in these crazy times, so I'll look for happiness after hours.

I like my job a lot. I find that the people I work with contribute A LOT to my sense of fulfillment too. I like working with people I like!

I have a steady (although not the best paying) job with benefits in an industry in which both are hard to come by, but the work isn't fulfilling at all. I look forward to some day being able to make a living doing something creative, which is the only way I'd feel fulfilled.

When my job is ok, it's a paycheck. Very rarely it can be a great opportunity to hear about interesting things. 98% of the time, I hate it with a passion.

sometimes i do think that my job is fulfilling since in theory i LOVE what i do, but there are times that i wonder what my contribution really is and whether it's appreciated or if it even matters. i know that i would still work even if i won the lottery though.

I love my job! Sometimes on my commute to work, I truly feel like I am living the dream I had for myself when I was little.

sometimes people can make me question how fulfilling my job really is. then i get the opportunity to reach out to a young girl or someone who was feeling stressed and crappy earlier and i love it all over again. people can get real weird about their hair but most of the time its a great job

I think my job is very fulfilling! Not too toot my own horn, but I'm an integral part of the company, and without me a lot of important tasks wouldn't get done. I can really take pride in the final product, knowing that it couldn't have been done without me.

I think I can do better, things are slow now, but overall I find it fulfilling that I enjoy doing something I get paid for.

My job is somewhat fulfilling because I get to help people and learn about the field, but it is a part-time job and I would prefer a full time one that was more focused on my specific interests.
