Stolen? No. But the cleaning people threw it away once, I was bummed.
2My items have been tapped into. Butter and juice has been used without permission.
3some1 stole my drink!
4YES! I was so, so, SO angry!!

Someone stole my Trader Joe's Veg Enchiladas...and left the wrapper on the counter!! I wanted to go sniffing through the whole building to find the culprit
It hasn't happened to me yet, but only like 10 people work in my office and it'd be fairly easy to find the culprit.
7Random amounts of butter and strawberry rhubarb spread have been dabbled in. Not too thrilled.
8No. I label my water bottles and tupperware and place it in the same spot in the fridge everyday. I usually bring in leftovers that require reheating so if anyone takes it it would lead me right to them.
9OMG. My FIRST day on the job and my pot roast ended up in the garbage. FIRST DAY!! I was so upset, I almost cried.
10
Not yet. I put my name on my food too.
I'm sooo sorry SugarKat!
I Have had drinks taken but not food.

It wasn't my lunch, it was my breakfast yogurt. It totally ruined my morning
Oh we have food thieves in my office for sure. It has gotten so bad that people began to sabotage food. Like make ham and glue sandwiches (non toxic glue), put Post it notes on items that say "i spit in this" I myself have taken to bringing a small cooler to work to keep all my lunch and snack items in so there was no chance someone could steal.
16it's funny - i've had my food stolen and it's even been labeled which makes no sense to me. i don't understand how people can just go into a work fridge and take something that they KNOW they didn't bring and eat it. it's baffling!
17Our boss here is NOTORIOUS for eating things from the fridge. We actually laugh about it a lot, and tease him quite a bit. We don't get upset because it is a well-known vice of his! I figure that he buys lunch for the office about once a month, so it all equals out! It's just funny.
If mine is gone, that just means I get to get out of the office and get something MORE yummy than I'd brought anyway!

Tidalwave! That's a good idea!
my boss ate my sandwich once by mistake. his wife normally packs one for him to take, and he got confused and ate mine (but felt really bad and bought me subway). i've had condiments tapped into as well--i opened a bottle of fancy salad dressing, didn't use it again for two months, and found it almost gone. and who hasn't had something good thrown out in a massive fridge cleaning?
21We used to have a fridge just for our area, which barely anyone knew about, and I was the sole occupant LOL
but now i share the fridge with everyone on the ground floor I do worry itll go missing one day. Although I dont think anyone wants my ham and fresh bits, they all eat currys from home!
22Yes, it was a temp who steals everyone's food. It was my first week. I was so upset. He has been working for the company for more than a year and he steals lunches.
23Not has it been stolen, I've seen the person eating it right in front of me! It was very clearly labeled "Dr. Heidi ______'s Lunch," and she knew who I was, too! There was no way it was a mistake.
24No, but I rarely bring lunch. I'm in a small office where everyone makes more money than I do so it would be pretty sad if they stole my lunch!
25I used to have a boss that would take other people's food but we weren't so gentle natured about it. He had this attitude like everyone owed him something so he'd just take whatever he wanted. SO glad I don't have to see his stupid face ever again.
26Yep! And I sat down with the thief and watched him eat it. When he was done, I asked him WHY did you just eat my lunch? He turned so red!! My boss made him do my work for the day and bought me lunch. LOL!
27I worked in a very small office for an appliance delivery company. I used to keep frozen dinners in the fridge. I bought five every week, so I had one for each day. One day I went to the freezer and there was no lunch. I was baffled. We figured out who did it, but he gotten fired for not showing up for work (got arrested). I wrote a scathing piece of hate mail that he never saw because he never came back. He also was stealing the boss's sodas from the fridge and other workers confessed he was stealing from customer's fridges when they went on delivery jobs.
The worst (and most disgusting) thing was that he ate the frozen dinner he stole from me with a plastic spoon that I kept in my coffee mug on my desk. I found it in the empty container, gross coffee stains still intact. Yeech.
28LOL putting names on foods mean nothing. If they want it they will still take it. This is from someone who has had 2 meals taken from office fridge.
29That would seriously be shady if someone took my lunch!
30Grrr... people at my job are so bad with this! I've had my lunch stolen twice. The first time it was a frozen pizza, the second time it was my leftovers from a Thai restaurant I was planning on having for dinner. What kind of nasty person takes someones half-eaten leftovers?!
31Oh, Atiyah, I totally agree. The only reason I mentioned having my name on was because she didn't bother hiding the bag, and everyone knew it wasn't me. Some people have no shame! Hahah.
32When I was in college, I worked as a server at a ritzy Italian restaurant. I was working a double, so I brought my own lunch. Read; this place was pricey, and the morbidly obese owner/chef would sweat into the food that he prepared. When it finally came time to take a break, I caught one of the waiters grooving on my yogurt. I located a stapler, grabbed his tie, which was still around his neck, and politely introduced it to the break room table.
33
Awww SugarKat that's a sad story!!! I'm sorry
I've never had my lunch stolen, but we all eat
Yoplait and drink Diet Coke, so we've implemented a system of color-coded Post It flags. Mine are purple.
I've had people help themselves to my milk and salad dressing, but the only time my lunch was stolen was when I brought in almost the same thing as someone else. I think he ate mine by accident, not because he was a jerk.
35So annoying b/c the person who takes it obviously knows it's not theirs since they didn't put it there!!!
36No, not yet. But if it HAD been, I would have hunted that person down. Food makes me happy. And if I don't have food, I get cranky. So whoever took my food would feel my wrath. My wraaath!
37I learned the hard way to label my food even if it was in my own tupperware!

Not my whole lunch...just my apple!
