Credit card habits vary from person to person — some people touch their credit cards only a couple times a year to keep them active, others use them more frequently to take advantage of rewards but pay off the balances each month, some only use their cards for large purchases like plane tickets, and others rely on credit cards to cover everyday expenses.
The last time I used my credit card I charged two round-trip tickets to NYC, but was fortunately able to pay off the balance without incurring any interest. What was the last thing you charged to your card? Are you still paying for it?

I charge all my online purchases to my credit card. I believe that the last time I used my credit card was a couple of months ago...
1It was last year.
2Yesterday. I pretty much use my credit card for everything, so I can accumulate frequent flyer miles. However, my husband and I pay off our full balance every month so we don't accumulate any debt.
3A few weeks ago. I bought a fabulous dress for my cousin's party next month.
4I used my credit card yesterday. 1% cashback, and 5% back on promo months for different categories. I always pay it off 100% when the bill is due.
5I used it over Labor Day weekend. I will pay it off once I get the bill.
6I use it on most of the purchases, mainly also for the cashback but manage to pay it off every month.
7Used it this weekend while I was in Connecticut. As soon as it I checked my statement online I paid it off.
8i used it last night to buy dinner for me and my boyfriend..i just got a promotion at work but as a result of financial processes, i won't be getting a paycheque for 4 weeks, so i'm living off my VISA and will pay it when i get my lump sum cheque
9Congrats Ski!!!!
10I used it last week. I try to use it for emergencies.
11I used mine yesterday for a basic purchase but I just found out my car needs some EXPENSIVE work done so I am trying to use my regular bank account for that!
12Yesterday when I had to unexpectedly pay $400 to have my damn dog's teeth cleaned. Damn that little varmint!
13i use mine on almost a daily basis and just pay it off each month- i get points and such. i just cashed in a bunch for a bunch of gift cards!
14I used it about 3 days ago to sign up for Level 2 on my poledancing classes
The only time I use it is for things like that - that I need to purchase online or can't use cash or debit for (like my classes).
152day.
16I use mine for most of my purchases for the rewards... I make sure to pay my cards online about once a week so I'm always right on top of things.
17I used it on Sunday for Gas. I am trying to avoid touching it for the rest of the month.
18I use it all the time for everyday expenses - groceries, eating out, gas, etc. Probably the last thing I used it for was a Trader Joes trip on Sunday. Like many people posted above, I use it to accumulate points, and we pay it off every month.
19Today. I use it for everything and pay it off each month. Can't beat rewards points and a positive credit history.
20I make most of my purchases with my credit card, and then pay off the full balance before the bill comes. So...all the time!
21This morning for gas - I'm in the same boat as all the other commenters who use the card for points and pay off the balance before charges accrue.
22I only have one store card and the last time I used that was..... Christmas? Oh wait, I closed another card after I used it and paid it off a few months ago. My check card has the same rewards (well to me better rewards) as a credit card. Plus I just haven't found a major credit card I would be willing to get.
23six weeks ago? something like that. i bought a pair of flat sandals on sale.
24i can't even remember the last time that i used a credit card. i don't consider an AMEX to be a credit card since i think that technically it's a charge card and you HAVE to pay the balance off each month. for me - if i don't have the $$ i don't spend it. i rely on my debit cards for all the purchases that i make
25I use my credit card to buy everything so I can quickly accrue rewards points for purchases/payments I'd be making anyway (oh, and for those purchases I make for fun too). I pay off my balance each month so it works out.
26Last week for symphony tickets.
27I use mine often as I get 5% back on certain things (groceries, gas, restaurants) and 1% back on all other purchases. I receive my rebate check last week actually.
28Last month!
29Today. I charged almost everything to my Discover to my cashback. But I'm careful to only charge as much as I can afford to pay in full at the end of the billing period.
30My credit score dropped from getting a student loan and selling my home. So I'm trying to use my credit card every month and spend about 30% and pay it off every month. So far, one month down and I'm happy with it.
I'll keep you posted as issues arise
31I use my credit cards for everything except rent. And if I could pay my rent with them, I would. I pay them off in full monthly. My hatred for our consumerist culture along with fear of debt keeps me from spending more than I have.
