I don't know about you, but holiday themed catalogs have already begun making their way into my mailbox. The end of Summer is a fair-game signal for retailers to begin their campaigns to get shoppers in the holiday spirit.
Back in June I reminded you to start saving for the holidays; will you be taking any of those savings to begin holiday shopping soon, or have you already started?

I want to start soon!
1I always wait until the last minute but i would like to start sooner this year.
2I started in April...I was on vacay and decided to buy something for someone and their b-day was over so Christmas it is. Also, the people I buy for appreciate that I don't pay full price so when I'm shopping for the sales I just buy stuff.
So far I have two people done. Still lots to go, but I don't want to have to unload a bunch of cash all at once...
3I tend to buy birthday and Christmas presents throughout the year, when I see something I think is perfect for a certain person. I find it really difficult to buy under pressure around Christmas/birthday time!
4This is going to be a poor christmas (we're buying a house this month) so I've started doing a little sale shopping. I've also started knitting some scarves for my cold weather living friends. I love this time of year! Oct-Jan is my FAVE
5I used to see things and make a mental list to shop in November, but a few years ago I switched to year round, "If you see it, buy it and put it in the Christmas Present Tub" It's so great, because I'm usually pretty much done by early November. In fact I was just reviewing my christmas card list today, updating addresses etc, so I'll be able to whip those things out quickly in Dec.
6I already started. I like to shop for the kids first because they are much more easy to shop for. Then I gradually move on to the adults.
7When I see items on sale I pick them up and compile them for presents. This year my pockets are pretty lean but somehow someway I tend to get nice gifts for my family and friends.
8When I conveniently see something that reminds me of someone I'll just buy it there on the spot- to use for either birthday present or if it passed- Christmas! Then when the holiday season comes I'll just have to think hard about those who are hard to get presents for. All done
9Soon. Usually, I start in late October- early November..
10I'm usually more of a last minute shopper, I love the after Thanksgiving sales. This year I'm expecting my 2nd child Dec. 14th so my goal is to be done before Thanksgiving. I really don't want to be "about to burst" and be out in the crowded stores with all the hectic shoppers. Some of those people can be down-right nasty! Pushing and shoving. I also don't want to put anything off till the last minute and have to take a newborn and a 3 year old out shopping with me right after I've delivered.
Nope, done before Thanksgiving and then I'm just going to sit back and relax with my new baby and enjoy the holidays. Oh yeah, not hosting any Thanksgiving or Christmas parties this year either! lol
11I have really scaled back my list. I shop earlier every year to get it out of the way.
12I have 2 done so far and I'm working on a few more
13Yeah, I have a present closet. I don't know where I'm going to hide the presents once my daughter (now 2) is old enough to start looking...
14i'm not a complete last minute shopper but i will wait a bit before i even think about it. the issue for me now is $$ and the fact that i don't have any and i think that put off spending more $$ until the last minute.
15I usually start mid October but this year I happened to come across this cute Cabbage Patch Dolls set on QVC for my goddaughter so I guess I have already started
16I like to shop in December. Early in the month there are less crowds but the holiday music and decorations are.
17Does it count if I'm already feeling overwhelmed by holiday shopping?
