How did we manage before online banking? Sixty-four percent of you track your expenses online in lieu of balancing a checkbook, and I check my online account often — usually a few times a week — for up-to-date balances. How often do you log in to check the status of your bank account?

I am ridiculous. Two or three times a day.
1I do it on the daily!
2i check all of mine everyday almost. i monitor my bank account to make sure i have enough money and i monitor my credit cards for fraud and to make sure that they charged me correctly! the only account i don't always check daily is my brokerage account, cause well lets face it, in this market- its painful haha
3Daily so that I can confirm the charges/checks/etc go through for the right amount and get rid of the receipts so they don't build up in my purse! Also so I can do my budget and plan out expenses for the month.
4If I am going to make a purchase I like to check my account before I do so. Otherwise I don't it's too depressing.
5Everyday.
6yeah i love the option to check my finances whenever i want!
7Everyday, sometimes twice a day if i am waiting for something to clear
8Twice a day. I check when I arrive to work and again before I leave for the day.
91-3 times a month, when I pay my bills. Don't really see a point to check more often... it's just me on the account and I know what's happening and when.
10I check almost every day, it makes me feel secure to see theres no fraudulent activity going on or anything like that.
11At least three times a day is that bad - I hardly ever spend anything during the day its just a habit.
12Pretty much every day. I love having that convenience!
13haha, I'm kinda compulsive about it as well...couple times a day, especially if I'm planning on writing any checks and/or paying bills online. And, at the risk of sounding even dorkier, I love balancing my checkbook!
14two or three times a week. luckily i check it pretty often b/c some bogus company got a hold of my debit card info and started charging stuff to my account. of course i quickly reported them to the BBB, my bank, and i called them up to tell them how shady they were. the bank refunded my money thankfully.
15I check my actual online account fewer than once a day, but I have (free!) mobile banking, so I just had my balance and my last five transactions sent to my phone. I'll probably do it again after work to make sure that my transaction from dinner two nights ago cleared properly.
16Usually daily, sometimes more if I'm waiting for something specific to clear or a direct deposit to come in.
17me too at least once a day!
18About 2x per week after larger purchases such as gas.
19Usually more than once a day, and that's each account! I don't know if I'm scared of fraud or just need reassurance that I really should keep showing up at work every day.
20I used to have a daily ritual when I came home to open all my banking account sites at once. I've managed to calm down on that front...only every few days!
21i check things out a few times a week - my fiance looks just about every day and he's gotten me into the habit of looking to make sure that things are on the up and up. it's interesting to see how things add up and when things post - since it makes me crazy to see things post on different days than i've made purchases - but at least i'm keeping tabs on my finances as much as possible.
22A couple of times a day. I have a huge phobia of identity theft because it's happened to me twice, both times involving my debit card--once just the number was stolen, and once my entire wallet. So I get really neurotic about checking my balance.
23I check it more now especially since Bank of America had mobile banking for the iPhone.
24Besides checking it daily, I can also get a txt of my balance too!
25a couple of times a week
