Waste of money. Just wear the appropriate hem with the appropriate shoes.
1i actually think they are kinda brilliant! rosa, that works if you drive to work... but if you have to walk many blocks from a train to work then you don't want to walk in heels! so if you always wore the appropriate hem for flats- you'd be stuck in flats everyday!
2brilliant...I don't have the budget to buy multiple pairs of pants with different hems in each color (flat/midheel/high heel, blue/black/grey/brown). These are expensive but maybe I'll try to make my own.

7I have a few VERY expensive work pants...but I don't always enjoy wearing heels with them. Especialyl when I have lots fo cute flats!
You can do the same thing with a safety pin.
8totally awesome....when you roll certain cuts or fabrics, it just comes undone. Safety pins are sometimes difficult to get through thicker material...brilliant!
9brilliant. i usually end up buying 2 pairs of certain types of pants, one for heels and one for flats. this is freaking awesome
10I love it, I walk to work most days and I wear one pair of shoes for walking and anouther at work, I don't like pinning my pants and putting holes in them. I'm totally looking into getting these.

15They look a little silly, but are a GREAT idea.
16Right now I mostly cut out the middle-man and go with skirts instead. It's just too damn hard to find pants that fit! I give up!
Wouldn't these fall off after being inevitably knocked around in a crowded train or bus? Unless they're incredibly STRONG magnets. What if your pants are thick and lined? Unless... they GRIP the fabric with the strength of bulldog clips and don't just rely on magnets. Do they?
It doesn't appear to cover a much bigger area than safety pins, though. It has the benefit of not putting holes in your clothes, but if you have the kind of fabric that's prone to unrolling itself, would this really keep it in place any better than safety pins?
Next we need an invention that addresses the other women's wardrobe problem - be-pocketing clothing with no pockets or useless pockets. Someone please get cracking.

20I think they're a great idea but that's definitely more than I'm willing to pay for them.
21Sounds good in theory, but the problem is that many fabric don't fold neatly and create a bulky look, and when you take the clips out, you might have a noticable crease. Like looseseal, I prefer skirts.

23These are a cute idea, and I think they would be pretty easy to make yourself for much cheaper. But, like some one else said some fabrics don't roll very well, and it might create a bunchy look. So if you just used them on your walk to work it would be fine, but it defiantly isn't a fix to actually hemming your pants.

25As far as making your own go, I'd say snooping for cute new or vintage clip earrings and snapping off the clips and gluing to magnets might work...even pretty coat buttons, or glue-back clear "stones" or "crystals" depending on the style of pants. Like plain jet ones might be pretty on black, for instance.
The only thing would be making sure it doesn't look too "crafty", and that the end result has a finished look.
26i agree with estelle that you could totally make these yourself... especially if your slacks came with spare buttons (so you already have a genuine match!)
the problem with safety pins is that they can put holes in thinner fabrics (linens, silks), and are noticeable. these can blend in really well, and serve such a brilliant purpose. i've definitely lost more pairs of pants to fraying than anything else. (because while i buy pants with the idea of wearing heels in mind, i generally wear flats, but don't want to hem the pants, completely eliminating the option to wear heels.)

28this is perhaps one of the SMARTEST things that i've ever heard about. if you live in a city that you commute (i'm in NYC) then you would know that you do end up ruining pants more often than you know. i always think that my subway shoes are high enough that my pants wont get torn or wet but nope - that's never the case and i end up having to dry clean or tailor things soo much more often than i had planned. i should have thought about magnets - that's genius. i've done the safety pin thing in the AM but when you're on your way out of the office after a LONG day - you don't always remember it.
