I love continental, and in comparison they seem to be the best. Plus I live in Jersey and Newark is their hub. I hope they don't change any of their policies.
1On another note, my Aunt is a flight attendent for United and she is not any happier than we, the customer, are over the changes.
I live in Philly so I have to fly US Airways all the time (it's the hub). In fact, I'm flying with them tomorrow. Ugh. I can't believe I'm going to have to pay for water and coffee. If it was a short trip I'd go without, but I'm flying all the way to Cali. *Sigh*
2hmm - i guess i need to pay more attention to these things. i only know continental - since that's my airline of choice although i do know the ones that are charging a lot for random things.
3I fly out of newark too and I can't remember the last time I didn't fly continental. Actually, some of their free meals aren't bad. I really enjoyed the muffin I had last time.
4Woo! 100%. While Southwest is awesomely cheap (I flew roundtrip for $225 total just a month ago), I think Continental is stellar in regards to inflight service and their vegetarian meals are pretty decent.
5I fly out of Newark too! My boyfriend is a pilot for Continental and my best friend's husband flies for them too. Continental has always treated them well.
