It's been a couple of weeks since we've played Trip to the Grocery Store because I've been terrible about eating at home lately. Busy days lead to unmotivated evenings, but now that my fridge is full of goodies I have no excuse for ordering in.
My trip to Safeway this weekend was surprisingly pleasant and it seemed as though everything I touched was discounted — love that! Let's see if you can guess the original prices for the items I purchased on sale. How money are you?

1Wow...0/5 and I'm the saavy shopper in my family. Avocado costs $2.29 by you? Not on sale, here in NJ, it's about $1.50. On sale you can get each for a little under a buck. Interesting how demographic affects grocery prices.

That's cheap for a bottle of Clorox Green Works. I think I paid $4.69 the other day.

7Omg did you go to the Safeway on Church/Market? What a MESS--I couldn't find anything! They're totally remodeling, I guess. But everything was on sale, which was the upside. LOL I was thinking that all those prices listed sounded like steals. . .but then again I grew up in one of those place where just EVERYTHING is more expensive

9The Shredded Wheat price is expensive! I think its expensive when it's regular price at $3.15! And the avocados are super expensive too, depending on where you go you can get them for about 75 cents! I'm glad I don't like there, I thought things were getting expensive in WI I couldn't imagine paying your prices.
