Everyone loves a good bargain but some people simply don't have the time or energy to hunt for them. It appears that more shoppers have been doing their best to discover the hottest deals lately and they're doing so by comparison shopping online.
Websites like Shopzilla, Shopping.com, and Pricegrabber, which provide comparison shopping services, have seen their traffic increase by about 60 percent in the last year. It would make sense that the gain is at least partially due to the struggling economy and shoppers looking to maximize dollars.
Have you started using sites like these or comparison shopping in other ways more often?

I've also been returning stuff a lot more than I did in the past. I only keep things if I really love them now.
1I've been comparison shopping since I was in college looking for deals on textbooks...now being out of school, every dollar saved goes toward paying off student loans or investing.
2Can't I comparison shop because I'm poor? Crappy economy or not, I need to save every penny right now.
3I always have comparison shopped even when I bought my car 6 years ago. It's just how I grew up my parents and brother-in-law taught me to take my time when making purchases and look around found out who has the best deal for whatever and take all of the factors into account before spending money.
4I always comparison shop.
5I've been doing comparison shopping ever since , even when the economy was still good.
6I use to comparison shop ---as of now I am not shopping if its not the basic (i.e. toliet tissue, soap, etc). Sad I know but times are tough and I am saving like crazy.
7I only comparison shop when buying textbooks for a new semester.
8I need to buy a new camera and just tried those sites out...they weren't helpful at all!
9I have always done comparison shopping, as some other commenters. I really think considering we are people who actually read the Savvy blog, you should have put an option in there for that!
10I've always been that way! =0)
