I am with all of you - the scrutiny of being famous would be horrible! But the money....I'd take that cash anyday!

No way. I don't even like getting my picture taken with friends, I can't imagine being under public scrutiny 24/7.

But I agree, the money would be nice!

I love the people who come in, make a bundle and then go buy a farm or a winery or something. But I couldn't work up the energy or interest in fame even for that.

I'd take the fame even without the cash. Spent way too much of my life on-stage - it's a total rush. Once you've tasted it, you can never let go

i think that i woudln't mind it to be honest. if there was something that i did that could give me acclaim and everyone would know - then im ok with that. to be honest, i do have that little green monster in me and i get jealous when i can't afford simple things and i see that celebs are able to get whatever they want (almost at least)

I would never want to be "celebrity-status famous" with paparazzi and magazine covers and such, but I wouldn't mind being known and highly regarded within the industry in which I work.

Nope. I would HATE it if paparazzi hounded me everywhere. Fortune only, please.

I don't know...I'd love the money and power, but the scrutiny would kill me!

I wouldn't mind their paycheck and some of the perks like vacations and free stuff, however I have no desire at all to be famous. Just the thought of my weight discussed everywhere and my personal life on the pages of magazines....nope, no way.

I would want to be like Charlize Theron rich/famous. You hardly ever see her in any paparazzi photos. I think some of these ladies chose to go to places where the paps reside.

i could stand being singer-in-an-indie-band famous, but not lindsay lohan famous... as in, famous within a smaller circle, but you can get pretty much left alone on the street.

still, i'd rather be rich. sigh.
