Although we may not have watched TGIF programming since middle school, there's not a Friday that goes by when that acronym isn't running through our minds. The end of the week can feel victorious, but does your grind spill over into your weekend?

Pretty much every weekend, but I am ok with it. I make commission, my pay would suffer if I didn't
1almost never. i don't get paid enough to work on the weekends, and plus, you have those two days off for a reason!
2Well... I'm a waitress, so this really isn't a fair question for me. Weekends are when I make the best money- we have a live band every Saturday night.
3I work in a holiday park and if were full on the weekend i'll usually come in either Sat or Sun, very rarely do i need to do both. It doesn't bother me cause i get paid more to be in on the weekend.
4I'm a magazine editor, but I also write a column, so sometimes I have to write during the weekends because of all the other editor stuff I have to do during weekdays. Today for example, I'm going to have to do some writing even if it's a Saturday. I try to avoid working during weekends as much as possible though.
52:30am and I just got off work:)
6i work retail where weekends are expected but i normally have a pretty cool schedule, weekdays only and no evenings...but i've taken a couple of vacations this past month and it's got my schedule all screwed up! on top of that, we've lost several people so everyone's working solo shifts and extra hours. hopefully by the end of the summer i will have my regular schedule back.
7I am a college student, and I work as a programmer for various research groups as a student job. I basically work whenever I have time/feel like it.
8As a student who also works, working weekends at the bank means extra hours and cash, otherwise I can't wait til I graduate and my weekends become mine again!
9Working right now!!! Hotels never close!!!
10i work at a hospital, so yeah. its always busy, 24/7.
11I have a second job I work at on Sundays.
12Same here bluebird, my "weekends" are during the week, not that bad though.
13Occasionally I do work on weekends. I'm a Lease Administrator for one of the largest commercial management companies on the west coast. If we run rent on Monday, I'll come in on the weekends to make sure all the rent updates have been processed. There was a time when I worked Sat and Sun for months at a time with no time off. But I stopped because the more work you do, the more work you get assigned. It's like I was I was running towards the light at the end of the never ending tunnel...
14I used to be very anti-weekend-work, but now I'm willing to go the extra mile (like my weekend meeting at a co-worker's place tomorrow to prep for a big presentation). I have a full-time job and still do work on the side, so my weekends are usually work-ish anyhow.
15if you don't set limits people won't respect your time. i'm a fan of working hard but i won't work on the weekends unless it's a special event. if i have a huge project i will work hard during the week to get it done and keep my weekends of limits.
16yup, am a cna and work two jobs.
17I work on the weekends but I do not mind it at all. The team I work with is in Israel and the work week is Sunday - Thursday and sometimes they have a question that has to be answered.
18i have to work weekends because of school:(
19Working weekends is a reality when you work at a church!
20weekdays only
21I work in local government finance so it's a standard 40 hour week. We can't have access to our computer systems from home because of account privacy and no one is allowed in the office on the weekends.
22Only on weekdays. I am very particular about days of work because I want to spend my weekends with my husband and fellowshipping and worshipping at church on Sundays. Saturday is fun day and Sunday is the Lord's day.
23Being an assistant, I don't have assigned tasks to do on the weekend. But if I want to get ahead, I have to stay on top of the news, and continue to participate in the online networks that make up part of my job, as well as using the time to research trends and other such things I am interested in both professionally and personally.
So it feels like work on the weekends.
24I'm a nanny for a stay-at-home mom. I get one weekday off and one weekend day off per week. I like that arrangement because on the weekend day I can spend time with my boyfriend and on the weekday I can do chores and run errands with no crowds.
25My job is limited to the weekdays however with the recent purchase of a home. I am in search of a part-time job so that I can work on the weekends( work from home would be great). Any ideals anyone . . . Thanks
