I recently asked if you love your job or just the paycheck and about 60 percent of you [1] said you do it for the cold hard cash. While I understand monetary compensation is often the most weighty factor in job and career selection (we all gotta eat, right!), it can't hurt to strive for a job that is fulfilling financially, intellectually, and emotionally.
Wacky workplaces like the one depicted on The Office [2] don't suit everyone, but I've found that my friends who work at companies that celebrate humor, creativity, and the ongoing achievements and accomplishments [3] of employees are the most content.
Is there a single factor or shift that would make you happier at your current job?
