I didn't know that people with qualifying children were getting paid more. That's pretty cool, I guess. I just got my check last week, but bills already swallowed them whole... I could REALLY use another $600.

I haven't got mine either... despite the May 16 supposed mail date.

BTW, I read on the IRS site that if you filed your taxed very close to April 15 (Like April 13) then your rebate check may be off the regular schedule because the IRS may not have processed your taxes by April 15.

i still haven't received mine either and the last two digits of my ss are 02..whats up with that? and i used the tool on the irs.gov website and it doesn't bring anything up for me.

I would possibly be THE happiest person on earth. Half to an extra payment on my car, half to pay for my flight back to VA for my best friend's birthday.

Since I just bought my first house, this will go towards furnishing it, and maybe getting some kind of extermination service! (exciting I know!)...>I have to wait until the end of the month though!

Our check FINALLY came the other day. Not as much as were hoping so into the emergency fund it went, and a few hundred for groceries because we don't have a second job right now!
