It seems as though some Americans put their rebate checks towards stimulating the Sex and the City economy. MainStreet visited the line that started forming yesterday at 6 a.m. for last night's NYC premiere, and asked some of those waiting how much they spent on tickets. It's quite the sliding scale!

5Apparently all of those fans were turned away without getting to see the movie – only the orchestra section of Radio City was opened and all those ticketholders were sent home after the media had taken photos of the crowd.
