Last night's episode of The Office followed Michael, Pam, Oscar, and Darryl on their field trip to the job fair at a local high school. Michael told Pam to bring only one piece of paper with them to the fair, because "a blank sheet of paper equals endless possibilities." When a kid signs his name on the single sheet of paper, Michael insists that it's damaged goods and unusable. Michael sends Pam on the hunt for a new sheet of paper and she's obviously frustrated with Micheal's stubborn and insensible antics. Are any of you familiar with I-want-things-the-way-I-want-them demands (even if they don't make any logical sense) that Pam has to deal with from her boss? I've sure been there before. Check out the clip below, and if you missed last night's episode BuzzSugar has a full recap!

My boyfriend kept saying "THATS JUST LIKE SAM" (his boss) during this episode. His company often does trade shows and stuff, kinda like the intern thing last night, and he says their booths are just like that. And he often has arguments with his boss like the Jim/Pam one- "I asked you about this and you said..." "No I didn't, go fix it!" etc. My experience is more like the office workers who didn't get to go- I often sneak out when the bosses are gone! I loved last night's episode, it really captured office life in both a realistic and hilarious way.
1Can't say that I relate to that specific situation, but the whole job fair thing...yes! Almost everything they do on The Office, we do at my company...it is frightening!
2Next episode is the season finale... ready for a proposal???
3Since it's TV, I just laugh at it and think it's funny...but in real life, I could never work for someone like Michael Scott. He'd make me crazy!
4I LOVE LOVE LOVE jim and Pam--this season has been SO good with them =)
5Oh gosh, it was just funny when Michael was totally ragging on that one kid, saying he didn't want him and then in the end told the kid that he should be his intern!
