You've surely noticed that your grocery and gasoline bills have totals that are much higher than last year's, but do you know how much more you're paying for the same items? Sure it's frustrating, but it's also important to be aware of the changes that affect your budget and modify the way you spend if needed. See how observant you've been when you take this quiz!

Interesting. All guesses. But considering that I don't drive, buy bread, buy eggs unless I am baking, and probably buy milk and cheese infrequently from different stores it is good to know how much more everything is costing - cause I am not keeping track!

Obviously, I would only get the one on gas right. It's the only one that really has been causing some concern for me since I drive an SUV and practically need to drive everywhere I go.

One good thing about the already-high prices of organics...I haven't seen much increase due to inflation! None of the food answers on this quiz match my experience, but I'm already paying at least 50% more than I could be in most cases. That doesn't mean I don't still question my $4 eggs sometimes, though....

I did not do well on this quiz and mostly overestimated just how much prices are going up, but in the increases are troubling nonetheless.

one thing my father said to me and my mother when i was little that still holds true: "it's expensive to be alive!"

i'm lucky i don't need to have a car, but groceries are getting really expensive & restaurants even more so. it forces me to rethink what i eat, though, and i've been making more home-cooked meals instead of grabbing a sandwich or a burrito for lunch.

milk is as high as gas now, maybe I should fill my tank up with a gallon of 1% and see how that works out
