IMO, marriage should never be considered a way to earn money. If I didn't earn the money myself, then he can keep it! I can see wanting to take care of her daughter, but she's got MORE than enough to do that.

I agree with everyone that said Mills is a golddigger. I read that part of her original claim stipulated that $1.25M would go towards charities, but then she admitted that $985K of that would go towards private airplanes, limousines, and other forms of transportation to make those donations. So that means only $240K would actually qualify as donations! She's also claimed that she's made various donations in the past to charities but her bank statements don't support her claims. She is bat s**t crazy to be making demands like that, thinking that she's entitled to a high-flying lifestyle just because she was married to Paul McCartney for four years.

i think it's unfair for paul mccartney. he would've taken care of his daughter's future no mater what, so to say that the money is to secure beatrice's future is bogus. i wonder how much of that money will even go to her daughter and her charities. yeah, and real classy, pouring water on someone's head. she got more than she deserved. can't she jut go away, please?

i think that if she was going to get any mo ey - then it was fair. i think that she really needs to take a step back and realize that for 4 years of marriage she didn't deserve 25% of his net worth. she inflated her charitable activities and it's come to bite her in the butt -and she had her own money before hand - so it's not like she really became accustomed to a WHOLE NEW LIFESTYLE that she deserved to be kept in. she wasn't a pauper before and with all the stuff that she's done since (dancing with the stars etc) - she's got $$ coming in so it's not like she's hurting for cash. i'm sure that paul would have taken care of her daughter separately if that's what it came down to - so she really should be happy that she got something for herself at least.

First and foremost - I cannot stomach this woman. I think she showed her cards early in the game but Paul didn't see it, for some reason. I read an article about her a few years ago that said she is bewitching in bed, so I'd love to know her secret.

But back to the topic at hand: In my opinion, she walked away with 1.2 million for each year - WAY too much for such a short marriage. She's capable of earning her own way and should have gotten nothing but child support.

Heather Mills is such a sad woman. Pouring water on the lawyer was childish and immature. The rumor was the divorce started because Paul did not hand select her birthday present/ mother's day gift. Mind you he did at least remember to have someone pick up a gift she may like, but because he did not pick out himself, she flew into a fit.
She received more than her fair share. She made no contributions to his weatlh and therefore did not deserve 25%. If you can't fly first-class off of $25,000,000 then you are a poor manager of money. Even if you only earn 10% interest that is still $2,500,000 a year and if you can't live luxuriously off of that you have problems. That is more than enough to jet-set around the world. Hopefully Paul will listen to his daughter the next time and get a pre-nup.

I found both her and Paul McCartney to be pretty disgusting and greedy people, so I really don't care how much she got.

However I do feel bad for their kid; while she'll obviously grow up with a nice bank account, it doesn't sound like she'll have parents who get along well.

In my opinion Heather got too much money. She keeps acting like she was fighting to get the money for her daughter. I don't think Paul (or his other children) were going to keep Beatrice from getting any support or inheritance she rightly deserves as one of his children.
